Abstract
This present article exposes results of the investigation around city and citizenship in school youths in three Colombian cities, Bo-gotá, Medellín and Manizales. Leaving of the hypothesis of the city as a fluid of relationships characterized by the fragmentation, the instan-taneous moments and the multiple exchange nets, in which the individuals build their expe-riences, this article shows the different forms of understanding the city and the citizenship on the part of school youths, framed in what we denominate the experience of life, as cat-egory that allows to understand the construc-tion of subjects and the reflexive processes that are played ins the social practices carried out by the individuals, both in macrodimensional and microdimensional contexts in the con-temporary societies. The above-mentioned al-lows showing the new senses that the juvenile cultures give to categories like the politics and the political thing, the citizenship and the right to the city, as well as the urban scenarios in which take place interpellation processes and of constitution of subjectivities and of juvenile citizenships.
