| spa |

dc.title.translated | The abuse of psychoactive substances in prisoners : a systematic review of therapeutic communities as a treatment alternative. | eng |
dc.description.abstractenglish | This research seeks to expose the role that CT Therapeutic Communities have as treatment alternatives in the processes of reducing SPA consumption, therefore, the origin and evolution of these over time is contemplated, exposing how their transformation has been. regarding the implementation of treatments, the use of different approaches and showing the strengthening of the relationship between the prison context, the TC and people deprived of liberty. The methodology used in the systematic analysis of the information is of a qualitative type, it begins with the identification and description of three categories and seven subcategories that allow an in-depth understanding of the structure and objective of the creation of the TC as a strategy against the decrease in SPA consumption. It is concluded that the TC use a wide variety of intervention strategies according to the profiles that enter them, for which they make use of evidence-based treatments and tools such as self-help, modeling, mindfulness, mutual help, among others, thus favoring a comprehensive treatment that aims to strengthen different areas of life of people deprived of liberty in order to increase the rehabilitation and resocialization process. | eng |
