Este artículo se enmarca es producto de la investigación hecha, como trabajo de grado, El asco proyectivo y sus implicaciones en la vida social, en el cual se hizo un análisis a la emoción del asco más allá de su dimensión primaria y funcional, para comprender cómo y por qué del asco pueden derivar actitudes morales, éticas y políticas negativas, y por qué las actitudes derivadas de esta emoción representan un problema en tales ámbitos. En este abordaremos específicamente la cuestión de qué es el asco, y se propondrá una explicación del concepto desde trabajos e investigaciones hechos principalmente en el campo de la psicología moral.
Abstract
This article is framed as a result of the research done, as a degree project, “Projective disgust and its implica-tions in social life”, in which an analysis was made of the emotion of disgust beyond its primary and functional dimension, to understand how and why disgust can derive negative moral, ethical and political attitudes, and why attitudes derived from this emotion represent a problem in such areas. In this we will specifically address the question of what disgust is, and an explanation of the concept will be proposed from works and research done mainly in the field of moral psychology.
