Abstract
Bodies intervened by the word, that word that not only names the rule but also incarnates it. The present research paper navigates through the narratives of three women, Fire, Earth, and Water (Air-Autobiography), who participated in the national strike from 2019 to 2021. Women who took an active part in defying and resisting the imposed rule; they were against the place to which, by rule, they were destined to access, opposing both the practices and the discourses that were charged on their bodies, exposing their bodies in the street and, with it, their right to appear. The narrative method allowed access to the body as an inhabited territory, in which struggles, anxieties, passions and resistances were expressed, giving voice to those memories, making use of metaphor as a vehicle that accompanies each narrative. The research was framed in the theoretical contributions of postmodernism, the decolonial turn, and the new feminisms. Insisting on the possibility of a livable life, a constant reminder of resistance and the search for an existence that goes beyond the imposed restrictions.
