Abstract
This project seeks to collect and analyze the degree works of the students of the Bachelor of Performing Arts, with the aim of contributing to the recognition of the advances in research within this program. The Bachelor of Performing Arts belongs to the Faculty of Fine Arts, where different investigative approaches have been developed over the years. Specific lines of research have been formulated to address the needs of each program.
The Bachelor of Performing Arts has strengthened research in this field through its curriculum, research groups, and seedbeds. Innovative and relevant spaces have been sought to improve the research tradition, adjusting the degree modalities to the research and training needs of teachers in training.
This project arises due to the lack of systematization of degree works and the research and training advances in the Bachelor of Performing Arts since 2018. It seeks to turn the institutional repository into a place of consultation and starting point for the progressive construction of knowledge in relation to performing arts and pedagogy.
The research is framed in a qualitative hermeneutic paradigm with a critical-interpretative approach. The documentary review is used as a methodological strategy to collect and analyze information from degree projects, institutional documents and monographs related to the degree in performing arts.
The methodological process consists of three phases: documentary consultation in the Institutional Repository of the UPN to compile the degree works, organization of the information in a database and grouping according to the modalities of degree, and quantitative and qualitative historical analysis of thematic recurrences in relation to the lines of research and the needs of the students.
It is hoped that this project will contribute to the undergraduate research tradition and provide guidance and reference for the progressive construction of knowledge in the field of performing arts and pedagogy.
