Abstract
The present work is in the form of a monograph and aims to address an interesting and practical investigation regarding the teaching of the right to freedom of expression, making didactic and creative use of theater and its different formats for the classroom, in order to reduce Gender inequality in a multigrade classroom in the town of La Prairie – Subachoque. It arises as a need to understand the different theatrical didactics that may exist to address the teaching and learning of complex social issues, such as the rights of children and adolescents (NNA).
“No more, no less, this is how we learn” is a short scenic representation (sketch) that arises from a collective creation together with the students of a rural multigrade school, the field teacher and the performing arts teacher in training and Its objective is to crystallize unfair and inequitable actions regarding gender, evidenced in the daily lives of girls and boys in schools and homes. This in order to be analyzed and transformed in the same scenario, making use of “theater for discussion” which allows direct solutions to be proposed to the problems of micromachismo raised in the sketch.
The above allows us to understand how micromachismo restricts the right to freedom of expression, affecting the free development of students. It is necessary to say that the teacher has a very important role in teaching and defending the rights of children and adolescents; this is how the sketch proposes concrete answers regarding possible didactics and forms of teaching.
