La Juga : del rio a la ciudad. Procesos de integración de la tradición musical del Pacífico en la vida urbana.
Abstract
Este trabajo es un esfuerzo por visibilizar músicas tradicionales del pacifico sur colombiano que tienen poca difusión en los espacios académicos y en la ciudad. Es también un medio para observar la tradición y la forma en la que esta se trasmite
utilizando nuevos mecanismos y escenarios alejados de los territorios donde se originan estas prácticas; por otra parte, el ejercicio de la etnografía presentado en este trabajo es un incentivo para comprender a los pueblos, personas y músicos que hacen parte de esta tradición y sus maneras de practicar la su cultura, su música, por consiguiente se aborda el estudio de la Juga y entenderla como eje fundamental del tejido social de dichas comunidades aunque estén separados de sus territorios, de sus selvas, de sus viajes continuos en el que la cultura se encuentra del río a la ciudad.
Abstract
This work is an effort to make visible traditional music of the Colombian South Pacific that has little diffusion in the academic spaces and in the city. It is also a means to observe the tradition and the way in which it is transmitted using new mechanisms and scenarios far from the territories where these practices originate; On the other hand, the exercise of ethnography presented in this work is an incentive to understand the people, people and musicians who are part of this tradition and their ways of practicing their culture, their music, therefore the study of La Juga and understand it as the fundamental axis of the social fabric of these communities even though they are separated from their territories, from their forests, from that continuous journey in which the culture of the Pacific is found, from the River to the City.
