Abstract
El siguiente trabajo de grado narra en detalle el proceso creativo detrás de la realización de un documental centrado en las memorias de la familia Pérez Vargas, alrededor de la figura de la abuela y su cocina. A través de una serie de entrevistas y diálogos íntimos con distintos miembros de la familia, La investigación busca reconstruir la imagen de la abuela desde múltiples perspectivas, explorando cómo las historias compartidas entre los familiares permiten conservar su recuerdo. Abordando dichos temas desde la memoria colectiva y las prácticas culinarias no solo como un elemento central para hablar sobre la abuela, sino también como un sustento teórico que permite entender la relación entre la cocina y la memoria. De esta forma, las practicas culinarias y las memorias de varios integrantes de la familia se configuran como dispositivos de memoria, que perpetúan su legado, convirtiéndose en una herramienta para recordarla en la familia.
Abstract
The following thesis narrates in detail the creative process behind the making of a documentary centered on the memories of the Pérez Vargas family, around the figure of the grandmother and her cooking. Through a series of interviews and intimate dialogues with different members of the family, the research seeks to reconstruct the image of the grandmother from multiple perspectives, exploring how the stories shared between family members allow her memory to be preserved. Addressing these topics from the collective memory and culinary practices not only as a central element to talk about the grandmother, but also as a theoretical basis that allows us to understand the relationship between cooking and memory. In this way, the culinary practices and memories of several members of the family are configured as memory devices, which perpetuate her legacy, becoming a tool to remember her in the family.
