Educación y tiempo disponible en la Cárcel y Penitenciaría de Alta y Mediana Seguridad de Mujeres de Bogotá. (CPAMSM-BOG).
Abstract
Estudio de caso descriptivo realizado en la Cárcel y Penitenciaria de Alta y Mediana Seguridad de Mujeres de Bogotá que indagó sobre los usos de los tiempos de las Adultas Mayores Privadas de la libertad (AMPL) con el propósito de conocer los significados de las actividades de Estudio, Trabajo y Enseñanza que allí se comparten buscando posibles elementos que inciden en la metodología de educación popular usada en los Establecimientos de Reclusión de Orden Nacional. Así, con la implementación de una encuesta de 19 ítems se consultó sobre el tiempo disponible usado en actividades propuestas por el Instituto Nacional Penitenciario y Carcelario (INPEC) y los usos del tiempo disponible usado en actividades voluntarias que otorgo resultados relacionados con la satisfacción, utilidad e interés percibido por las Personas Privadas de la Libertad en las actividades. Con ello se implementaron entrevistas semiestructuradas que profundizaron algunos vínculos entre los significados de las AMPL con la perspectiva institucional, exponiendo particularidades entre: 1) el proceso de envejecimiento y las actividades dirigidas por INPEC y 2) las actividades voluntarias en el tiempo disponible diferentes a las propuestas por la entidad.
Abstract
Descriptive case study carried out in the Jail and Penitentiary of High and Medium Security for Women of Bogotá that inquired about the uses of time of the Elderly Adults Deprived of Liberty (EADL) with the purpose of knowing the meanings of the Study activities , Work and Teaching that are shared there looking for possible elements that affect the methodology of popular education used in the National Order Reclusion Establishments. Thus, with the implementation of a 19-item survey, the available time used in activities proposed by the National Penitentiary and Prison Institute and the uses of the available time used in voluntary activities were consulted, which gave results related to satisfaction, utility and perceived interest by Persons Deprived of Liberty in the activities. With this, semi-structured interviews were implemented that deepened some links between the meanings of the EADL with the institutional perspective, exposing particularities between: 1) the aging process and the activities directed by National Penitentiary and Prison Institute and 2) the voluntary activities in the available time different from those proposed by the entity.
