This experience of creation, which took place in the front garden of the media luna farm, in la calera, Cundinamarca; place where I have resided, and located in the time of confinement caused by the COVID-19, problematized the everyday life of the mother's house through the search for "a turn to the ritual", a theoretical proposal of the South Korean philosopher Byung Chul Han that seeks to return to symbolic practices that allow us to signify the times and spaces in which we live. Therefore in this project, the problematization and the search for the resignification of space was given through artistic practices that, playing with the plasticity of the place, I find sensitive, artistic and pedagogical ways in which, doing chores in the garden of the house, detonate a meaningful place based on asceticism as a technique of theoretical-practical orientation of thought. So I pursue the construction of the “habitats” that derive in moments of reflection and own installation actions using as input the arrival of hens to the house. Throughout the text I explore the ways in which symbolic and serial perception affect the resignification and the search for the "turn to ritual" in this research creation. In the construction of the habitats (referring to some devices in the courtyard as chicken coops) I find how the melting pot of experiences, feelings and thoughts of the house and its garden is built; just as the creek, the sky and the mountain affect the everyday life of the place. Methodologically, I start by making cartographic explorations in the space, the family and the house in order to give an opening of thought and sensitization between the reflection of Art and Life. Likewise, from a series of practices of spatial artistic intervention, I develop installations that serve as a symbolic practice that seeks to consolidate a sacred place of its own that situates an objective reality of living-doing to give rise to the passage from a mere life in the world to a life at home.spa
