Abstract
This project proposes an investigation focused on listening to the narratives about the pedagogical and experiential training that Camilo Conde, professional visual artist from the Javeriana University and friend of my family for more than 20 years, have traveled, my mother, Patricia Camargo Bernal, a visual artist and a totally empirical teacher and I as a graduate in visual arts in training from the National Pedagogical University, who exercise or have taught in the area of visual arts in various educational backgrounds. Therefore, the information that emerges from the dialogues with the participants is classified into categories, the data is collected in analysis matrices and dialogues are developed with theoretical and conceptual postulates that are essential to shape the information collected, and from this In a way to collect all the reflections that arise on the teaching of visual arts from the perspectives of teachers who in turn identify themselves as visual artists, this artist-teacher duality is presented in the educator's training process, promoting a two-way conversation regarding being a teacher and being a visual artist.
