| spa |

dc.description.abstractenglish | Systematic and exploratory documentary review whose objective was to establish the adjustments in the Cooper Test scale in the populations that live in heights superior to the 2000 a.m.s.l. The following databases were consulted: MedLine, Embase, Ebsco, Sport Discus and Hinari. MeSH terms were used: Cooper Run Test (crt), physical aptitude, scaling, Heigh Training. The United States Preventive Services Task Force (uspstf ) was considered as selection criteria for the information. 530 scientific articles were collected; 21 met the inclusion criteria. The identified trends were: evaluation of oxygen consumption (4 articles), evaluation of cardiorespiratory endurance (4 articles), evaluation of physical fitness in the military (3 articles), evalua-tion of physical fitness and high performance athletes (4 articles), assessment of physical fitness in school-children (3 articles), evaluation of physical fitness in university students (3 articles). It is concluded that the crt as field test allows to establish the level of the trained subjects’ physical condition. It has been applied in different areas without considering the height and the physiological changes derived from it. Currently there are research gaps that show the adjustments in the scale in subjects over 2000 a.m.s.l. | eng |
