Abstract
The article presents how the body is fundamental in cognition. For the above, it is presented the phenomenological analysis of the body proposed by Husserl in Ideas II. This rebuild has three moments: the first one is that body is an organ of perception and therefore, it is essential for orientation (it is a carrier of kinesthesias). The second one is the body is a carrier of emotions (localized sensations-sensings) and finally, the body constitutes usually the intersubjective convergence.
