Los moluscos dulceacuícolas (Mollusca : Gastropoda - Bivalvia) del Museo de Historia Natural - Universidad Pedagógica Nacional (MHN - UPN).
Abstract
Durante el proceso formativo de los futuros licenciados en biología fue posible evidenciar que en la Universidad pedagógica Nacional existe una colección biológica la cual tiene su origen desde la creación del Departamento de Biología y sus ejemplares se preservan desde entonces en el Museo de Historia Natural de dicha universidad. Esta colección cuenta con una amplia diversidad de organismos que son resultado de diferentes muestreos realizados en salidas de campo, donaciones externas a la universidad y colectas aleatorias en Colombia; entre estos ejemplares se destaca la presencia de más de 500 organismos pertenecientes al phylum Mollusca aun sin ser debidamente curados y determinados. Dentro de esta Colección Malacológica hay 314 moluscos dulceacuícolas, los cuales fueron determinados y curados durante el proceso del actual trabajo de investigación, el cual tuvo como objetivo general sistematizar este grupo de moluscos depositados en el MHN – UPN además de aumentar el nivel de curaduría de la colección biológica del museo bajo un enfoque metodológico mixto y guiado por el paradigma naturalista, además del uso de herramientas como fotografías y la clave taxonómica presente en el libro de Linares, E. et al. (2018). Como resultado se obtuvo la determinación taxonómica del 97,3% del total de moluscos dulceacuícolas de la Colección Malacológica del MHN – UPN, se encontró la representatividad de las familias Ampullaridae, Cochliopidae, Mycetopodidae, Planorbidae y Physidae, además, se facilito un registro fotográfico de cada una de las muestras.
Abstract
During the process of the future graduates in biology's teachers, it was possible to show that at the Universidad Pedagogica Nacional there is a biological collection which has its origin since the creation of the Departamento de Biologia and its
organisms have been preserved since then in the Museo de Historia Natural of said university. This collection has a wide diversity of organisms that are the result of different samplings carried out in field trips, external donations to the university and random collections in Colombia; Among these specimens, the presence of more than 500 organisms belonging to the phylum Mollusca stands out, even without being properly cured and determined. Within this Malacological Collection there are 314 freshwater mollusks, which were determined and cured during the process of the current research work, which had the general objective of systematizing this group of mollusks deposited in the MHN - UPN in addition to increasing the level of curatorship of the museum's biological collection under a mixed methodological approach and guided by the naturalistic paradigm, in addition to the use of tools such as photographs and the taxonomic key present in the book by Linares, E. et al. (2018). As a result, the taxonomic determination of 97.3% of the total freshwater mollusks of the Malacological Collection of the MHN - UPN was obtained, the representativeness of the families Ampullaridae, Cochliopidae, Mycetopodidae, Planorbidae and Physidae was found, in addition, a photographic record was provided of each of the samples.
